Data Usage

Last updated: July 2026

This page explains, in plain language, exactly what BitMento™DSA does with your data behind the scenes.

Onboarding answers

Your goal, level, dream company, weak areas, timeline and language preference are stored against your profile and sent to our AI infrastructure provider each time your course roadmap or a module lesson is generated, so the content stays personalised to you.

Chat & doubt bot messages

Messages you send to the AI mentor or doubt bot are stored so the mentor keeps conversational context and so you can review past conversations. They are never used to train third-party models beyond what our AI infrastructure provider's own API terms specify.

Gamification data

XP, streaks, badges, and challenge submissions are used to compute your public leaderboard rank (name, username, XP, streak and challenges solved are visible to other learners). Your email and onboarding answers are never shown on the leaderboard.

Code you write

Code submitted in the in-browser IDE or challenge editor is stored with your submission history so you can revisit past attempts. It is not shared publicly.

Third parties we use

A database and auth provider, an AI infrastructure provider for chat and content generation, a transactional email provider, and a hosting provider.
